To support the next phase of our growth, we are recruiting to two roles – Employment Manager for North-West England, and Careers Development Manager for London.
About the Employment Manager role
We’re looking for someone to lead our innovative employment initiative developing and maintaining the charity’s relationships with employers in the North West. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging and building relationships with potential employers, managing and negotiating a smooth recruitment process for our young people into rewarding roles. The role requires knowledge of the government levy and apprenticeship pathways. The Employment Manager will work closely with the Careers Development Managers to prepare young people for online applications, video and telephone interviews and face-to-face interviews. An existing knowledge of employers and network in the North West is vital.

About the Careers Development Manager role
We’re looking for someone to manage and develop cohorts of young people, 16 – 21 years, across East and Central London, in a partnership with football club foundations and education providers for accounting and business, digital and tech. We are seeking someone who will be a role model and inspire young people. The successful candidate will have a proven commitment to improving the lives of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds with a good understanding of social mobility, diversity and inclusion issues. The main focus will be the development of young people into meaningful careers. The Careers Development Manager will be responsible for maintaining current employer relationships, mostly at line manager level, working closely with the LTSB employment team.
