What have we been up to

We has been up to a great deal over the past few months, we have adapted to support our young people during this difficult time. Our vision remains the focus  – Creating a world where all young people flourish, regardless of their background. We have continued to respond to challenges over and over again; As we reflect on the last few months, we celebrate all the successes we have had, both big and small. From young people receiving words of encouragement from their Career Development Managers to professionals volunteering their time to support them. We have a achieved a great deal but the work doesn’t stop, we will continue to support young people in every capacity we can.

Thank you to our funders and partners who have supported with funding, mentoring and advice in a short time and with such flexibility. The legacy of this will mean we have new and creative ways to support young people moving forward.

Her Power Hour

We are proud to announce the Her Power Hour webinar series!

Last year, we held the 4th annual Women in Leadership conference, and the theme was HER: Heard, Empowered, Ready. This year we have launched a webinar series which promotes the journeys and individual stories of both senior female leaders, male allies and young women in the early stages of their careers.

This year we will be introducing “Her Power Hour”, a webinar series created for and hosted by young women. We want to create a community of women passionate about supporting one another and building a network of men and women who truly believe in Women in Leadership.

Supported by our funders Berkeley Foundation the talks and workshops aim to empower young women and provide them with opportunities to learn from, and connect with, senior figures who are committed to ensuring gender equality.  All sessions will feature a guest speaker, and will be hosted by a young female LTSB ambassador.

We are VERY excited for the first session – the first of the “Her Power Hour” series, encouraging, inspiring and supporting young women.

The first webinar’s theme is centred around building your own UNIQUE personal brand, and the webinar will be led by Jo Britton a personal development expert and hosted by Phoebe Antiri from our LTSB alumni!
